Challenge

Create a game within 48 hours with a theme "mask".

Solution

ECLIPSE is a high-speed, 2D movement-platformer that centers on a dual-state world-swapping mechanic. Players must navigate intricate spatial puzzles by toggling between the heavy, grounded physics of The Fragment and the weightless, light-based Resonance. Your objective is to traverse a landscape where platforms and hazards are spectrum-locked, forcing you to synchronize mid-air shifts to survive. Combat is fluidly woven into this momentum, requiring you to alternate between brutal close-range strikes and long-range pulses to clear obstacles and maintain speed through shifting dimensions. The story follows "The Fragmented One" surviving in the bleached, silent ruins of a world harvested by the interdimensional Veiled. Set within a vast white void of floating brutalist debris, you have claimed the Visage—a parasitic mask that allows you to see the luminous terrain of your stolen reality. As you hunt the invaders who unmade your world, you must walk the line between the cold truth of the ruins and the shimmering memory of the echo. Reclaim the shattered laws of physics and strike back against the silence, or become another forgotten shadow in the decaying abyss.
